For a long time, Madrid has been known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world with unique architecture and unforgettable atmosphere. Lately, the heart of the Spanish capital and largest city is full of twelve tons of trash. The German artist HA Schult has designed "Beach Garbage Hotel" in Plaza de Callao, Madrid as a part of the "Coronita Save the Beach" campaign. The most unusual hotel opens on January 18, 2011 with litter materials collected from Europe\'s beaches. The entire rubbish hotel will be displayed from January 18 to January 30 - which coincidies with the time of International Tourist Fair held in Madrid - to raise the awareness of people about the serious pollution coastlines and seas.
The walls of five-room art installation are made from wooden frames, striped socks, musical instruments and children books. Meanwhile, the five rooms are built from wobbly sideboards, street lights and Persian rugs.
